From 2003 to 2009, China's sodium gluconate industry production maintained a compound growth rate of 33.14%. Now, China has become an important producer and exporter of sodium gluconate globally. In 2010, the total production capacity of sodium gluconate in China was around 570000 tons. There are currently over 40 sodium gluconate production enterprises in China, most of which are located in the main corn production areas. Xinxiang Huaxing Chemical Co., Ltd. is the largest sodium tungstate production enterprise in China, with a designed production capacity of over 200000 tons.
